Inspired by the connection between 3 elements: Sound waves, Canyons, and busy streets.

Canyons are not just a strong symbol of local identity but also have a shape generated by natural factors that resemble the movement of sound waves. This shape has unique acoustic characteristics where the music can be expressed in its maximum splendor. Canyons are also organic streets where all musicians and artists can express themselves. Throughout history the street was a symbol for equal opportunities and there are several celebrities that started as buskers, as BB king, Tracy Chapman, Pierce Brosnan or Edith Piaf. Our building will be divided in 3 interconnected programs that are organized around the central canyon.

The academy is in the south façade and has a separate entrance. The Forum/café is located in between the academy and the performance hall and can be shared by both. The sculptural performance wall is designed and located to be visible from the main accesses and will be the only element that emerges from the green roof. More than a building our proposal is a garden that can be used day and night by all neighbors not just to relax but also to express them self as creative minths.
